Melancholy

I try to be positive and joyous in my blogs, but I must admit that.... ... I am sad and feel rather lonely. Let me make this clear: I am blessed with gifts that I cannot even fully describe, but I wish that there were someone on the planet with whom I was romantically affiliated that got me and was a witness to who I am and who I'll be (that is a lyric to a song that I am currently writing called "In Tune"). I have had a slew of "romantic" endeavors that have not even added up to a date. It is sad, but true. I know that I deserve much because I give much. But, I am saddened and just want to say it out loud. Tears have been shed. Off to play a board game.... Life is mysterious, zany, and unpredictable. Floss!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Dustin

Enthralled and Enchanted by The Spell

These wonderful people of the cast of The Weekend Theater's (how I wished they spelled it theatRE) production of Godspell are making my life hilarious, moving, and exhilarating. It is rare that a cast comes along that bonds to this extent on and off the stage. Much of what I have written deals with the theatre projects with which I have been associated because, quite frankly, that has been taking up most of my time. I would have it no other way. I am basking in the return of the native to his homeland. :-) I turned 30 on July 5th. I love the new decade and the magic that is beckoning me to answer. And answer I shall!!! I am filled with the simplest of joys and fulfillment. May you be as well... Dustin
